PURPOSE:To perform an efficient work of mud removing from wheel tires,by constituting a mud removing device in such a manner that every two of the four cylindrical bodies with a plurality of protrusive stripes along their circumferential surface is arranged in series to make two rows and two units of said cylindrical body group are arranged in parallel. CONSTITUTION:For an automobile like dump truck with two-axle wheels at its rear, when a sticking mud is removed from tires of the rear two-axle wheels, firstly the automobile is moved forward and placed its rear two-axle wheels riding on between cylindaical bodies 2, 2 of respective two rows I, II and I', II' in two units A, A' of a cylindrical body group in machine frames 1 through guide mount plates 11. Secondly if the wheels are reversely rotated in a backward direction by the driver, the cylindrical bodies 2, 2 are driven to rotate by the follow up motion to the rotating wheels, and the sticking mud can be completely removed and dropped from the tire. Here the cylindrical bodies 2, 2 in the rows II and I' are simultaneously rotated through a transmission device consisting of chain wheels 7 and chains 8 provided on coupling rotary shafts 3. |
