<p>PURPOSE:To attain charging of a waste tire in a short time while alleviating oven temp. lowering and heat loss and limiting brick damaging, by halting a plurality of waste tires between particular guides, releasing the halt of the foremost tire and repeating these operations. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of waste tires 6 are fed from the rear opening between guides 7, 7' of a waste tire charging apparatus 3, with the foremost halt rod 9 protruded. Each rod 9 is protruded into the interstice 11 between tires 6, 6'. Thus, a plurality of tires 6 are disposed on a slope 5. Then, the halt of the foremost tire 6 by the rod 9 is released by actuating a cylinder 8 so as to cause the foremost tire 6 to roll down on the slope 5 and further on the bottom face of a carbonizing chamber 1 until it is accommodated in the carbonizing chamber 1. After the lapse of a desired period of time, the operation of releasing the above-mentioned halt of the foremost tire is repeated, thereby attaining successive supply of a plurality of tires 6 into the carbonizing chamber 1.</p> |
