PURPOSE:To improve channel-selecting operation by making it impossible for a remote control unit to select a free channel by covering a display part and channel selection button, that correspond to the free channel, with a fitted cover. CONSTITUTION:Operation part 22 that has display part 23A-23L, displaying channels, and channel selection buttons 24A-24L, arranged on fitted plate 21 is provided on the front face of front frame 20 of the television receiver, and at both sides of the operation part 22, insertion holes 271 and 272 for fitting fitted cover 25 are provided. At the part of free channels G-L, protrusions 261 and 262 of fitted cover 25 are inserted to cover display parts 23G-23L and selection buttons 24G- 24L. With the fitted cover fitted, the channel circuit is opened, so that it will be made impossible for the remote controller to select a free channel. |
