<p>The train bogey (6) is pivoted about a vertical axis on top of a height adjustable pneumatic cushion (8). A height control valve (11) fitted to the carriage is linked to the bogey by means of a special double armed, double jointed linkage (18) which allows the bogey to pivot without affecting the setting of the valve. The vertical movement of the bogey is sensed by the valve in any setting of the bogey. The attachment point of the linkage to the bogey is by means of a vertical shaft (9) linked to the bogey on a height adjustable mounting.</p> |
