PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient acoustic image orientation effect, by giving a level difference and a time difference between respective channels and by shortening the delay time for the signal of a desired channel in comparison with that of signals of other channels. CONSTITUTION:The monaural signal which has come to input terminal 1 is branched to two systems, and on is attenuated to a comparatively low level by resistor VRL1, and the other is attenuated to a comparatively high level by resistor VRR1, and they are supplied to delay circuits 2L and 2R respectively. The output oscillation frequency of voltage control oscillator 3L is larger than that of oscillator 3R, and clock pulses of a frequency higher than the frequency of clock pulses supplied to delay circuit 2R are supplied to delay circuit 2L. Then, the delay time of circuit 2L is shorter than that of circuit 2R. Consequently, sound emitted from the speaker of the R channel is smaller than that from the speaker of the L channel and is taken out after a time delay, and the listener feels as if sound from the speaker of the R channel comes from a distance. |
