PURPOSE:To improve the filling characteristic and retention capacity of a paste for a lead acid-battery by including starch graft polymerized with a specific monomer and fluororesin dispersion in the paste which comprises lead powder, sulfuric acid, and water. CONSTITUTION:Starch graft polymerized with an acrylic monomer or methacrylic monomer and fluororesin dispersion are included in a paste which comprises lead powder, sulfuric acid, and water when the paste is coated on a substrate. It is preferable that the fluororesin dispersion is added so that the content of the fluororesin is not more than 2% by weight to lead powder and that the starch is 0.001- 0.5% by weight to lead powder. |
