<p>PURPOSE:To provide a structure of an air filter element capable of removing ultrafine particles floated in air easily in extremely high efficiency constituted by combining an electret filter material and a nonelectret filter material. CONSTITUTION:From (A) an electretized filter material being prepared by incorporating a porous material having continuous cells such as a nonwoven fabric or a foamed material or particular electrets into a box with an appropriate shape and (B) a nonelectretized material, an objective air filter element is constituted. In this case, as the material B, a high capacity filter such as a conventional HEPA filter is used as welll as the material A is pref. set to a downstream side of the material B. Thereby, for example, particles with a particle size of 0.3mum or more is collected by the material B and particles with a particle size of 0.3mum or less can be collected by the material A. Therefore, an air filter element with very high collecting efficiency and low pressure loss is obtained.</p> |
