<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly change the direction of paper, by providing the guide member having movable surfaces between two paper feed means for feeding in different directions, to change the direction of the paper sent from one feed means and conduct the paper to the other feed means. CONSTITUTION:When the device is started to pick out paper 1 stacked in a tray 2, the uppermost paper in the tray is sent out in the direction of an arrow A by the first paper feed means 3 and the feed direction of the paper is sharply changed by about 90 deg. or more along the first and the second revolved belts 9, 10 of a guide 5. The paper is then sent out by the second paper feed means 4 in the direction of an arrow B different from that by the first paper feed means 3. At that time, the belts 9, 10 are revolved in the directions of arrows D, E and the paper contact portions (guid surfaces) of the belts are moved in the same direction as the paper 1. This results in preventing troubles such as the oblique feed, jamming and bending of the paper.</p> |
