PURPOSE:To compensate rectification characteristics of a diode by inserting a constant current source circuit, correcting diode characteristics, between the diode and a load in a circuit that rectifies an AC signal by the diode. CONSTITUTION:For rectification characteristics of diode 2, the straight line shown by the broken line is ideal, but the solid curve is actually obtained and the value is small specially at a low level. For the purpose, voltage-current converting circuit 5 compensates characteristics of the low level input with regard to the value converted into electric current. Constant-current source circuit 6 which generates electric current much less than load current is connected in parallel to load 3 to flow the current to the load. In this case, the same compensation current flows to the load when a high-level input arrives, but since the ratio to the original rectified current is smaller than when a low level input arrives, an influence of the compensation can be ignored. Such a constitution can compensate rectification characteristics of the diode. |
