PURPOSE:To realize the reproduction of the half tone, by reading N times the memory contents of the shift register group in the direction of gradation and by M bits within the recording time of the recording elements of 1N sets of the recording head and then supplying the picture information to 1N sets of recording elements. CONSTITUTION:Control signal b is supplied from terminal 8 of shift register group 6 to show the state of 1; while control signal c is supplied from terminal 10 of shift register group 7 to show the state of 0. And each shift register of group 6 is set under the recirculation mode; while each shift register of group 7 is set under the state in which the output of each comparator of the comparator group is supplied. Writing clock e to register group 7 is the clock pulse of 1/M period of the recording time of 1N sets of the heat-sensitive recording head supplied from terminal 11, and then samples the half tone information of 4 bits given from comparator group 5. In register group 6, high-speed reading clock d of M bits is supplied in 4 times from terminal 9, and each contents is delivered to selector 12 to be selected in the gradation direction by signal g. Thus the half tone information is produced. |
