PURPOSE:To reduce bits by a method wherein of control bits which give control informations for registration a specific one bit is used for a parity bit, also and this control bit cannot change more than one bit. CONSTITUTION:The registration code consists of control bits C0-C2 and address bits A0-A2 and one C0 of the control bits is used for the parity bit for the address bits, too. The value of this bit C0 is none other than the parity to the address bit but is determined without reference to the address bit at an address boundary and a blank position where the address bit is uncertain. The relation of each control code C0-C2 to each part 11-14 of bit pattern registration codes is shown in Fig. b and this means that between the center of the address and the boundary portion thereof the vector of the control bit moves along the side between two faces of a cube. |
