ELECTRICAL ROTARY MACHINE CORE AND METHOD OF INSULATING THEREOF

PURPOSE:To improve the film formation rate of a slot end corner by forming an insulating resin layer covering the insulating resin layer mixed with an electrically charged fine fiber powder and the inner surface of the slot after it is provided on the core side and the slot corner. CONSTITUTION:A granular resin mixed with an electrically charged fiber powder is applied on the core side 5 and the slot end corner part 6 to form a composite granular resin layer 6. A granular resin alone is applied by electrostatic painting so that the resin layer 9 is formed covering a composite granular resin layer 6 and the inner surface of the slot. Through said procedure, a doubled construction at the slot end corner part 6 gives a sufficient thickness to the insulating film, thereby improving the strength of the insulation while preventing damage to the coil.
