<p>An installation for obtaining energy from solid fossil fuels, especially those high in inerts, more particularly bituminous coal, the said installation consisting of at least one block in which the solid fuels are converted into gas and containing a gas turbine and a steam turbine for extracting energy from the gas, the dust and sulphur being removed from the gases, in the block, before the gas turbine, characterized in that a melting-chamber boiler, to which the ground fuel is fed, is equipped with pressure firing, the flue-gases therefrom being adapted to be fed to the desulphurizing unit and to the dust-removal unit before being used in the gas turbine.</p> |
