PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic toner high in humidity resistance and low in fatigue without deteriorating attachability to plain paper by using a specified sulfur- containing amine compound as a charge controller. CONSTITUTION:As a charge controller, 2-aminoethanethiol or its hydrochloride or beta-beta'-diaminodiethyldisulfide or its hydrochloride is used. A mixture of 95-80wt% binder resin, such as a styrene resin, of 40-200 deg.C softening point, 1-10wt% colorant, such as carbon black, and said 0.05-5wt% charge controller are mixed and pulverized to 0.1-100mu, preferably to 3-15mu to form a toner. |
