PURPOSE:To reform an output voltage waveform to a shape closely resembling a sine wave by providing a dummy groove for regulating flux distribution axially extended near both circumferential ends of the core part of an image pole in a field. CONSTITUTION:A coil groove 2 is formed only on the core part of either of N and S poles of the cylindrical rotor 1 the N pole, for example and then, wound a field coil 3. The other pole, the 5 poll, is made as an image pole while a dummy groove 5 for regulating the flux distribution axially extended is provided near both circumferential ends of the image pole. In this manner, as the flux distribution can be adjusted at the image pole, the power voltage waveform can be reformed resembling the sine wave in the shape. |
