PURPOSE:To make it possible to synthesize and copy simply required parts from plural originals, by guiding the copy paper, where the required part of the first original has been copied, to a storage position and by supplying again the copy paper placed in the storage position for copying of the second original to copy images of the first original and the second original onto the same face. CONSTITUTION:The first original set in the prescribed position by original exchange unit 1 is exposed to light to form an electrostatic latent image on photosensitive material 6 and is developed by developing unit 8. After the developed image is transcribed in the transcription position, transcription paper 10 is stored temporarily in the position, which is not brought into contact with photosensitive material 6 of transcription drum 11, used as storage position 13. After transcription, photosensitive material 6 is destaticized and is cleaned, and the first original is taken out in original exchange unit 1, and the second original is set to the prescribed position. The image of the second original formed on photosensitive material 6 similarly to the first original is transcribed to the same position of the image of the first original on transcription paper 10 supplied from storage unit 13, thus synthesizing images. |
