Method of producing a mouldable material comprises making a crystallizable glass in a rotary kiln in a form containing a relatively high concentration of micro-bubbles, and grinding the glass in a ball mill. A binder consisting of an organic resin is introduced into the ball mill during grinding, and the product is a relatively cheap mouldable material having a high content of crystallizable glass particles but retaining mouldable properties and mechanical characteristics. |
