WOOL AND HAIR GROWTH STIMULANT

The novel wool and hair growth stimulant of the invention comprises an active principle, viz. l-(chloromethyl)-silatrane of the formula , or the active principle combined with a pharmaceutical carrier. The proposed preparation stimulates the growth of animal wool and hair and may find application in dermatocosmetology for treating alopecia as well as in veterinary medicine, animal husbandry and for farming for stimulating wool growth. The active principle is preferably used with fodder in doses of 10 mg per kg of animal weight.
