A means 6 is incorporated into a ventilation or cooling duct 2 for regulating the through flow area and the airflow in the duct. The means 6 is loosely inserted between a lower and an upper stop 7 and 8, respectively. At a first air through flow condition in the duct, the means rests with its weight against the first stop 7, thereby forming a first through flow area in the duct. In a second airflow condition in the duct, the means deflects upwards against the second stop 8 due to the increased pressure from a blower, where the means form a second through flow area. The means is guided in its movements between the first and second stops to prevent it from sloping in the duct. The first stop is constituted by an inwards displaceable flange or insert, and is provided with an upper surface 7a able to cooperate with the means 6, and a sloping lower surface 7b forming a choke in the direction of the airflow. The means 6 is provided with a through hole 6a. At the first airflow condition, the airflow passes said through hole 6a, and at the second airflow condition, the airflow passes both through said hole 6a and also between the outer edges of the means and the inner wall of the duct between the first and second stops. <IMAGE> |
