PURPOSE:To provide material forming even color image by subjecting support surface to mirror surface processing through cast coating by paints including macro- molecule compounds to obtain Beckmann flatness beyond specific value and decreasing abrasion of thermal head during heating. CONSTITUTION:Support surface of thermal coloring recording material is subjected to mirror surface processing by cast coating using paints consisting of macro- molecule compounds (eg. hydroxyethylcellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, etc.), lubricant, fluoric resin, high grade fatty acid metallic salt, etc. in order to obtain uniform mirror surface with surface Beckmann flatness at 200sec or more. For uniform coating of cast coated support unit with thermal coloring layer, it is desirable to use macro-molecule compounds of aqueous nature, when for instance, thermal coloring layer forming solution is aqueous solution including coloring ingredients consisting of leuco dyestuff and phenol material. |
