<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive top plate for a counter, a table and the like which has a greater strength and improved silencing effect, by a method wherein an upper sheet, a lower sheet, and side cover sheets form a space, and foraming resin is poured into the space for foaming therein. CONSTITUTION:A metal upper sheet, consisting of an upper portion 1a, a front portion 1b, a turning-inward portion 1c, a rear portion 1e, and rising edge portions 1d, 1f, makes contact with a metal lower sheet 2 consisting of a lower portion 2a, a hanging-down portion 2b, a reising staged portion 2c. The rising edge portion 1d and the hanging-down portion 2d are temporarily fixed together by means of a proper number of fixture screws or rivets. Side cover sheets 5, 5 are fitted in the opposite end portions thereof, and the resultant work is put together by welding and the like. Foaming resin 9 is poured into through a pouring hole 6 bored in the side cover sheet 5 for foaming therein. A side sheet 10 is secured on an outer surface of each side cover sheet 5 to obtain a top plate.</p> |
