<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the transfer paper failed to be stripped from being dragged into a cleaning device with simple constitution by installing a transfer paper stopping member of a reguired shape on the back of a cleaning blade. CONSTITUTION:The leading end of transfer paper 3 which has failed to be stripped from a photoreceptor 2 by a transfer paper stripping jaw 5 is separated from the photoreceptor 2 by the cleaning jaw 7 of a cleaning device A. A transfer paper stopping member 18 provided with a guard part 19c, a notch part 19b for stopping the leading end of transfer paper, etc. is provided on the back side of this jaw 7. The leading end of the transfer paper 3 stripped from the photoreceptor 1 by the jaw 7 is stopped by the jaw 7, thus the transfer paper 3 stops without being dragged into the housing 15 of the device A. Hence, the dragging of the transfer paper into the cleaning device is prevented by the simple constitution and the transfer paper having caused stripping failure may be treated easily and surely without involving the disassembly of the cleaning device.</p> |
