PURPOSE:To obtain a still picture recording device where a required screen can be digitized and be recorded on a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:The television signal demodulated by tuner 12 and detector 14 is displayed on display part 18 through amplifier 17. For the picture to be recorded as a still picture, control part 5 which receives the signal from key 6 and synchronizing separating circuit 13 digitizes picture information by A/D converter 2 and records it onto IC memory 3 when operation key 6 is operated. Digital picture information in IC memory 3 is applied to recording head 93 through interface part 82, control part 91 and modulating part 92 and is recorded on a magnetic tape to be reproduced later on. The reproduced signal of the magnetic tape is reproduced through D/A converter 4 after stored in IC memory 3 temporarily through reproducing head 95, demodulator 94, control part 91, and interface 82. |
