PURPOSE: To examine a selected tissue in a body cavity and to decrease a danger of damage to a srrounding tissue on the other hand by providing a means instrument for extending a working tool, which is mounted in an observation space, outward from an observation space positioned on an optical system through a lateral hole of a probe. CONSTITUTION: A probe 26 of surgical operation equipment 20 is provided with an upside surface 38, remote terminal part closed as a whole, and lateral hole 50 provided on the upside surface near this remote terminal part. An optical system 30 is partially arranged in the probe at least and equipped with ability, with which the optical system is housed, provided with a remote section proximated to the remote terminal part of the probe and terminated near the lateral hole. Therefore, the probe is formed from the remote section of the optical system, remote terminal part, and the lateral hole of the probe. A visual confirmation space 52 is provided. In this case, the space is arranged inside the view field of the optical system. The working tool is provided in the probe as well and positioned in the space for visual confirmation and this tool can be extended outward through the lateral hole of the probe. |
