Carburettor using membrane pump - driven electromagnetically and connected via channel to pipe downstream of correction nozzle

The carburretor has a main mix outlet in the suction channel upstream of a throttle flap. This outlet is connected via a channel to a main mix system comprising a pipe, air correction nozzle and main fuel nozzle. A channel (11) leads into the pipe (3) downstream of the air correction nozzle (9). This channel is connected to the working chamber (12) of a pump (13) producing pulses of air. The pump is a membrane pump (13) whose membrane (14) is driven electromagnetically. The pump may have a control pressure chamber (21) connected via a nozzle (25) to atmospheric air. The working chamber may be connected via a nozzle (27) to atmospheric air. The main mix system provides uniform fuel flow even at the start of its conveying.
