Monitoring circuit for carrier frequency regulating circuit - has amplifier with logarithmic characteristic, series connected to pilot signal filter, amplifier and rectifier

The monitoring circuit is intended for pilot-controlled regulators of high frequency amplifiers. It is used for such control circuits in case of level surges. An amplifier with a logarithmic characteristic is series connected behind a device for filtering, amplifying and rectifying of the pilot signal, for linearising the pilot direct voltage. The series-connected amplifier is used for attaining a constant steepness of the voltage characteristic over the entire control range. Pref. the setting voltage is so matched to the linearised pilot voltage, using a function generator, that the alarm warning and blocking of the control devices takes place always when identical input levels occur. The monitoring circuit thus provides constant response value also in case of large level deviation.
