<p>The headlight reflector (10) is made of plastic and has a stepped paraboloid (16) in both parallel side sections (12) on each side of the optical axis (13). The stepped part has no optical effect and is used solely as a resting surface allowing several reflectors to be stacked one inside the other during fabrication, thereby saving space. Since the surfaces that come into contact in the stack are not used to reflect light any damage done to them does not result in a reduction in the reflectance value of the surface.</p> |
