The magnetic train suspension system has facing parts positioned along the track rail and carried by the train via a transverse carrier. This is suspended from the underneath of the wagon via a main spring positioned along the centre line of the train. A roll spring device responds to an inclined position of the wagon relative to the track rail, or of the transverse carrier relative to a roll axis in the train's longitudinal direction. Pref. a mechanical coupling linkage is provided between the left and right sides of the wagon and the roll spring device, with the latter or the coupling linkage carried by the transverse carrier.
