摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the control characteristic of air fuel ratio under acceleration, in a fuel injector wherein the air fuel ratio is compensated by feedback proporional control with an exhaust gas sensor, by changing the proportional control for integral control at the time of quick acceleration. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injector has a fuel flow rate measuring unit 2 in which a steel ball 14 is displaced by a control rod 12 in the axial direction in proportion to the cross-sectional area of the opening of the air flow rate detection valve 6 of an area-type air flow rate measuring unit 1 to increase or decrease the cross-sectional area of the opening of a measuring hole 15. A control valve 22 is installed in a pipe passage which connects the upstream side of the measuring unit 2 to the chamber (d) of a constant differential pressure valve 3. The control valve 22 is regulated by a control signal which is produced by a control unit 26 depending on the signals of a lambda sensor 55, a cooling water temperature sensor 40, a throttle valve position sensor 25, etc. At the time of quick acceleration, the control unit 26 changes proportional control for integral control to increase a control width to regulate the control valve 22.
