The hydraulic vibration-damping support is particularly intended for a motor vehicle or boat engine or a generator. It comprises an elastomer hollow body having two chambers separated by a partition with a throttle orifice connecting the chambers. The body is container between the parallel flanges of a U-section bracket which flanges form the closures of the chambers. The bracket acts as one half of the support whilst the other half is formed by a metal plate parallel to the flanges which is vulcanised in the body and serves as the partition.
