Chemicals dosing feeder - with single acting pump integrated in throwaway chemicals container

A dosing feeder to inject metered amounts of chemicals into a fluid system, specially into the water mains, consists of a drive motor and a metering pump. The latter is a single-acting pump which is an integral part of the chemical storage container. The drive section with a coupling flange is designed as a separate part from the storage container with integrated metering pump. The storage container for the chemicals is thus a sealed vessel which is only pierced when it is coupled to the drive part. This ensures hygienic conditions throughout. No dry running safety features are required and the drive has a long service life.
