The spare fuel can is for use with motor vehicles, being shaped (2) to fit inside the rim (3) of the soare wheel (1). It can be circular on the outside, fitting closely inside the recess formed, and flush with the rim, with a central bore for a fixing bolt securing both it and the spare wheel to a wall of the vehicle. Its cap can be set back from the periphery inside a groove, and it can be secured by magnets or clamping levers in the rim. The design allows the can to be easily accommodated in the boot without reducing the space available for luggage.
