<p>The machine shapes, fills and seals pairs of triangular bags, a strip of sheet material being pulled into a shaping station and sealed along the open sides by lengthwise and transverse devices so as to divide it into individual bags. The station comprises a shoulder (4) over which the material is pulled to form it into a hose (14), and a filling funnel extends (10) through the shoulder. At and above the shoulder this has a partition (11), and at the bottom its tubular portion joins onto two filling passages (12), between which a space is left, in which the lengthwise sealing devices (13) are accommodated. The passages spread the hose apart, and the transverse sealing devices (17) and the lengthwise and transverse shears (16,20) are mounted below them.</p> |
