The electric coffee maker machine is designed to simplify decalcification, and consists of a fresh water container (10) divided by a partition (6) from a coffee grounds container (8). A top part (14) is for the water for boiling, and the fresh water container (10) contains a riser pipe (34). A removable riser pipe part (26) forms with one or two of its sides, the riser pipe (34). The coffee pot (2) has guide pieces (6,28) for the riser pipe section (26). Sealing lips (16) clamp the boiling water section (14) onto the pot (2). An immersion heater (40) and power connections (44,46) are incorporated with the section (14).
