<p>PURPOSE:To prevent creases from occuring during lamination, by specifying the amplitude of the undulation of a glass cloth end. CONSTITUTION:A base material containing glass cloth is impregnated with setting resin liquid under continuous carriage and jointed and cut after the laminate of a cover sheet and/or metal foil. As the filler of a glass cloth end, the whisker of an end of air jet cloth is lengthened so as not to come loose during carriage. The length of a whisker is preferably 3-10mm. As the filler of the other end, shuttle cloth is used. Air jet cloth and shuttle cloth are suitable for pressureless continuous manufacture because the strain of an end is small, and because amplitude of undulation is normally 5mm or less. Resin impregnated into the base material is liquid at normal temperature and setting resin which generates no volatile by-product on setting: the viscosity is 0.1-15poise at normal temperature.</p> |
