<p>The arrangement is intended for controlling a multi-cylinder combustion engine by switching one or more cylinders on or off. The linkage (from 20 to 22) which operates the fuel injection pump setting contains a unit (36) in which one swivel lever (40) coupled (20) to the engine control is movable relative to a second swivel lever (41) coupled (22) to the pump into different positions, each of which brings in certain cylinders. The levers swivel on a common pivot (38) and their relative positions are located by a snap-in pin on one lever (40) engaging one of a number of bores (44-46) in the other (41). One of the levers (41) carries switches (49,50) for actuation by the other (40) which may control solenoid valves in the fuel lines from the pump to certain cylinders.</p> |
