PURPOSE:To avoid the decompressed state by deoxidization, by providing gas diffusion electrode of cathode, oxygen generating electrode of anode and electrolyte in closed system and removing the oxygen and then, closing attached valve when the oxygen concentration is lowered to a fixed value. CONSTITUTION:Decompressed state by deoxidization is avoided by not using the pressure switch. For example, air in the room 1 provided with the oxygen densimeter 14, is circulated between the room 1 and accomodating room of electrochemical deoxidization apparatus by the fan 4 through the ducts 5, 5'. The deoxidization apparatus 3 is composed of the gas diffusion electrode of cathode 6, the oxygen generating electrode of anode 7, the caustic potash solution 8, the separator 9 and the electrolytic vessel 10. Voltage is supplied between both electrodes from the direct current power source 11 while contacting the air with said electrode 6. Oxygen in closed system is consumed and generated oxygen from the electrode 7 is discharged from the exit 12. Fresh air is sent into said system by opening the needle valve 13 at first and said valve 13 is closed when oxygen concentration is reached the equilibrium valve. Hereby, the oxygen concentration is made nearly nought and pressure difference of inside and outside of said system, is 7.6mm. in mercury column. |
