A composition adapted for application to hair before the hair is wound upon curlers and treated for permanent waving thereof comprising: (a) at least one methylpolysiloxane having a boiling point in the range of 100 DEG to 190 DEG C. and/or at least one paraffin or isoparaffin having a boiling point in the range of 100 DEG to 190 DEG C., (b) at least one cation active, non-capillary active compound, and (c) at least one ampholytic, capillary active imidazoline compound. |
