<p>Ds.28997 This invention relates to a process for the manufacture of an improved chrome yellow pigment which comprises the simultaneous treatment of an aqueous suspension of a chrome yellow pigment with two treating agents which are (i) metaphosphoric acid or a water-soluble salt thereof and (ii) a water-soluble cerous salt. The treated pigment has improved resistance to sulphur dioxide and is particularly useful in the manufacture of industrial paints.</p> |
