PURPOSE:To obtain a photoswitch of a small size, low electric power and a low price by constituting this by an optical fiber movable structural body, a winding assembly corresponding to this, a positioning guide for both ends of fibers, a fiber aligning structural body and a connecting part. CONSTITUTION:As predetermined electric current is flowed from a fixed direction to a winding 9, the movable part 5 including an optical fiber 7 is attracted to the iron core 1 side, by which the switch is closed. At this time, the fiber 7 moves along a guide pipe 13 and its leading end moves to the leading end of the guide 14. Hence, it goes sufficiently closer to the stationary side fiber and this makes possible the transmission of light. The moving distance of the fiber of this case coincides with the gap between a spring 2 and the iron core 1. Even if the applied current is disconnected after this, the switch is held latched and closed by the residual magnetic flux of the iron core 1. Thereby, low power driving may be accomplished. |
