Decorative covering tile square has a cardboard core, with one face fast to the decorative material and the other to a thickness of flexible pref. expanded, polystyrene. Pref. the decorative material is a sheet of wood veneer. The outer face of the polystyrene may be covered with a layer of adhesive with a protective sheet over it.
