PURPOSE:A cleansing preparation, having improved storage stability and cleansing effects without irritating the skin, and comprising polyethylene glycol, a monoalkali salt of an N-acylglutamic acid, behenic acid, an alkanolamide of a fatty acid and water as main constituents. CONSTITUTION:A cleansing preparation comprising (A) 2-20wt% polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 400-2,500, (B) 5-30wt% a compound of formula I (R is 7-21C alkyl or alkenyl group; M is Na or K), (c) 0.5- 5wt% behenic acid, (D) 1-10wt% a compound of formula II [R is 6-22C alkyl or alkenyl group; A is H, -(CH2)2OH or -CH2CH(OH)CH3; A' is A which is not H] and (E) 34-90wt% water as main constituents, and if necessary myristic acid, etc. The preparation is acidic and has improved storage stability, cleansing effects, foaming properties and feeling of use without irritating the skin. |
