PURPOSE:To reduce the noise band appearing on the reproduced screen, by driving the head repetivively in several times within one field in case the tape is reproduced in a higher speed than the recording. CONSTITUTION:If it is supposed that the control signal is at the lowest position of each track on the tape, counter 3 is reset at that point with the count value of 0. After this, the count value is increased by the pulse of clock signal generator 2 and then reset again to 0 with the next control pulse. This count value receives D/A conversion 4 to obtain the saw-tooth wave signal within one field. This signal is applied to piezoelectric elements 10a and 10b attached to heads 11a and 11b and via control signal supply circuit 5 which is controlled by the head switch signal. And heads 11a and 11b give the tracing to several tracks having the azimuths coinciding with each other to form one field. Accordingly, the noise band is eliminated or reduced although the tape is run in a higher speed for reproduction than the recording. |
