PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic material having superior adhesion between the photographic layer and the support without exerting unfavorable influence on the photographic characteristics by using a specified org. substance composition to form an undercoat layer on the support having a polyolefin resin surface layer. CONSTITUTION:A composition consisting of a high molecular compound (a) such as polyvinyl alcohol or gelatin phthalate practically having no active amino group, a compound (b) having two or more ethyleneimino groups in the molecule, e.g., the compound represented by formula I, and a compound (c) having two or more epoxy groups in the molecule, e.g., the compound represented by formula II is coated onto a polyolefin laminated support by about 0.01-10g/m<2> as total solid component to form an undercoat layer, and then the layer is covered with a photographic layer to obtain a photographic material. |
