PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet from being loosened and dislocated from the end retaining position of the sheet, by driving a resistroller at high/low two speeds. CONSTITUTION:When a drum is rotated permitting the progress to a prescribed position by a well-known encoder or the like, solenoids 43, 44 are deenergized to turn ON both spring clutches 32B, 33B. This causes a resistroller 30 to be rotated at the relatively fast second speed. When the end of a sheet reaches a prescribed position on the surface of the drum, only the solenoid 43 is energized to turn OFF the spring clutch 32B. This causes the resistroller 30 to be rotated at the relatively slow first speed similar to that of the drum. |
