PURPOSE:To save man power for electric wire threading operation by supplying automatically wire wound bobbins and threading automatically upper end of wound wire through a wire path in bobbin exchange. CONSTITUTION:A continuous wire path (resin pipes 13, 14, 17) for supplying electric wire 20 to a winding frame 4, switch 63 for detecting the presence of wire 20 on a bobbin 21, means for forcibly supplying the wire on the bobbin 21 to a flayer 8 (roller 22, drive roller 23, drive motor 24), switch means (levers 31, 32) for controlling contact condition between this supply means and wire 20 and bobbin feeder (element 45) for supplying a bobbin 21 below the supply means to locate the upper end of wire on the bobbin 21 in the middle of the supply means at the start thereof are provided. Thus, in the exchange of bobbins, wire wound bobbins are automatically supplied and the end of the wire is automatically threaded into a continuous path so that the wire threading can be carried out without attendant and threading time reduced substantially. |
