<p>PURPOSE:To surely perform the clamping operation of a sheet with a simple construction of a device, by allowing the sheet to adhere to a suction drum surface, also sucking to close a sheet clamping pawl and permitting it to hold the end part of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:When air is sucked by a suction pipe 39 in a suction drum 20 from a plurality of suction holes 36, 37 provided in a row on the drum 20, a sheet clamping pawl 23 and the end part of a sheet held by said pawl are pressed to the drum 20 and retained. The sheet clamping pawl 23, at the time of no suction, is in a state of not pressing to the drum 20 by a spring 31 through holding arms 30, 30 at both ends of the drum 20. The end part of the sheet is adapted to stoppers 25 hanging down from said sheet clamping pawl 23 and aligned to perform the feed work.</p> |
