Such a lock consists of a groove-shaped body which can be inserted in a cutout opening interrupting the running surfaces of the guide rail and which has elastic tongues (16) continuing the running surfaces of the guide rail. For facilitating insertion and for adaptation to the internal clearance of different guide rails, the lock body which is open at the bottom is divided lengthways in such a way that rear web parts (24) projecting from the opposite side legs (10) are offset in relation to one another in the longitudinal direction, these rear web parts (24), after adaptation to the width of the internal clearance of the guide rail, serving as spacer elements and connection parts between the two side legs (10), and having projections formed on their rear side as spacer elements bearing inwardly on the upper transverse web of the guide rail, in order to support the assembled body inside the guide rail. <IMAGE>
