PURPOSE:To enhance the photosensitivity of a recording member and obtain a fine image by forming a photosensitive heat-sensitive layer based on a cobalt (III) complex, a photoreducing agent and a hydrogen donor on an electrically conductive support and carrying out corona charging simultaneously with exposure through a visible light image followed by heating. CONSTITUTION:On an electrically conductive support a photosensitive heat-sensitive layer based on a sensitizing anion-free cobalt (III) complex such as hexamminecobalt (III) perchlorate or hexamminecobalt (III) acetate, a photoreducing agent such as 1-naphthyl disulfide capable of absorbing light of >=300nm wavelengths and a hydrogen donor such as polyethylene glycol is formed to obtain a recording member. Simultaneously with the exposure of the member through a visible light image corona charging is carried out, and then the member is heated to form the titled image. |
