<p>Rotary bearings are installed one on each of the long sides of the front window of the driver's cabin in a vehicle such as a mobile crane or an earthmover. The window fits rubber seals in the front wall of the cabin and can be tilted on self-lubricating, synthetic, esp. PVC journals on an axis parallel to the transverse axis of the vehicle. Along the top edge of the window, a water-guiding rail diverts rainwater sideways, and between it and the structure when the front window is closed, and when it is open, a tight joint is formed by a rubber seal. For the sealing of the other window edges, the rubber seal is fitted to a window rim projecting at right angles to the front wall. When the front window is opened, no rainwater can penetrate into the cabin and improved visibility for the driver is one of the advantages.</p> |
